Highlights from Latest Fundraising Reporting Period Show Texas Democrats Outraising GOP Candidates, Shattering Fundraising Records
AUSTIN, Texas — Today, the Texas Democratic Party is announcing that several Texas Democratic statewide nominees have outraised their Republican opponents, shattering fundraising records along the way.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the incredible slate of nominees we have to put forward this cycle,” said Texas Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa. “The numbers we’re seeing from the latest fundraising filing period tell a distinct story of remarkable, historical enthusiasm for our statewide Democrats. These numbers also show that while corrupt Texas Republicans continue to take floods of shady cash from the CEOs and industries they’re supposed to be regulating, Texas Democrats have never so explicitly proven themselves to be the party of everyday working Texans – with grassroots campaigns that are powered by the people, for the people.”
See below for some highlights from the last fundraising reporting period:

MIKE COLLIER
Lt. Governor Nominee

- More than $1.2 million of that was raised since March 1
- Average donation is just $90
- June 2022 was the strongest fundraising month of the cycle thus far, showing sustained momentum

LUKE WARFORD
Railroad Commissioner Nominee
