Planning your 2024 Independence Day celebrations? Many San Antonio-area parks and suburbs have organized exciting events including parades, races, food festivities, live music, and fireworks. Here are some of the best spots to celebrate.
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa: The Hyatt is hosting various events throughout the Fourth of July week. On July 4, families can join in a parade with their own decorated floats. The day will feature live music, food trucks, and a fireworks display at the golf course.
Schertz: The “4th of July Jubilee” kicks off with a 5K and a parade starting at 9:30 a.m. A kids’ carnival opens at 11 a.m. at Thulemeyer Park. Live music will begin at 6 p.m. at Pickrell Park, with fireworks starting at 9:15 p.m. at Pickrell/Thulemeyer Park.
SeaWorld San Antonio: SeaWorld will host a Firework Spectacular from July 4-7, with shows at 9:30 p.m. each night. Guests can save 45% on tickets and passes during the celebration.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas: The amusement park’s fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. on July 4 and continues until July 6.
Woodlawn Lake: The San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio will hold their Fourth of July Celebration from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The free event will feature food trucks, vendors, live music, carnival games, and a fireworks show.
Windcrest: Windcrest’s annual “4th of July Parade” starts at 10 a.m. at City Hall, located at 8601 Midcrown Drive.
