Bad Bunny Will Headline The 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Fresh Off a Record-Breaking Residency and Leading 12 Latin Grammy Nominations, Will Bring Latin Trap and Reggaeton to the World’s Biggest Stage

Bad Bunny will take the stage at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation announced Sunday. The three-time Grammy winner and 12-time Latin Grammy winner will perform on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, bringing Latin trap and reggaeton to the world’s most-watched musical stage.

A Record-Breaking Year

The announcement follows a historic run for the Puerto Rican superstar. Earlier this month, Bad Bunny closed out a residency in Puerto Rico that drew more than half a million fans. He also leads all nominees heading into the November Latin Grammy Awards with 12 nominations, surpassing producer and songwriter Édgar Barrera.

Born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, the 31-year-old artist is among the world’s most streamed performers, with hit albums including Un Verano Sin Ti, the first all-Spanish-language LP to top the Billboard 200.

“This Is For My People”

In a statement, Bad Bunny said:

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

Roc Nation founder Jay-Z praised the selection, saying:

“What Bad Bunny has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”

Roc Nation and Apple Music Deliver Another Landmark Show

Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins will serve as co-executive producers, while Hamish Hamilton returns as director. Jon Barker, the NFL’s senior VP of Global Event Production, said Bad Bunny’s “dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans” will create “the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect.”

Apple Music’s Oliver Schusser added:

“His music has not only broken records but has elevated Latin music to the center of pop culture. We know this show will be unforgettable.”

Following Record-Breaking Viewership

Bad Bunny follows Kendrick Lamar, who last year delivered a record-setting halftime performance with SZA in New Orleans, drawing 133.5 million viewers — the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history.

With Bad Bunny’s unmatched global reach, the NFL and Roc Nation are banking on another historic moment.
