Celebrate Pride with Free River Parades and Live Entertainment May 31 in Downtown San Antonio
San Antonio is closing out May with color, culture, and community at the Pride River Parades and Celebration on Friday, May 31, hosted at La Villita’s Arneson River Theatre. Organized by Visit San Antonio, the event was created to celebrate inclusion, visibility, and support for the LGBTQ+ community—and it’s completely free to attend.
Two River Parades, One Powerful Message
The evening features two vibrant river parades flowing through the heart of the city:
- Museum Reach Parade: 5:00–6:00 p.m.
- Downtown River Parade: 8:00–9:00 p.m.
In between the parades, guests can enjoy live music and entertainment on stage at the historic Arneson River Theatre from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Pride and Progress
More than just a party, the Pride River Parade is a public show of support for San Antonio’s LGBTQ+ community and a reminder that pride is about living freely, loudly, and with love. Whether you’re coming to dance, cheer on the boats, or just take it all in, this celebration is for everyone.
