Easing Into The Spring Season With Family Events Before Easter Rush

As we move through the month of March, the city is quietly shifting into the next big season: spring, Easter, and then, in San Antonio, Fiesta.

This week brings the official start of spring along with a mix of events across the city. Jazz concerts and the grand reopening of Dave and Buster’s offer options for the older crowd, while underwater egg hunts and the 5th Annual Lighten Up Festival provide family friendly ways to ease into the upcoming Easter and Fiesta season.

Until then, things remain relatively calm, but there is still plenty happening for families. Splash pads are now open across the city, and Parks and Recreation is keeping kids engaged with Community Club Hubs and programming at local recreation centers and parks, helping fill the gaps between upcoming events and holiday celebrations.
