Black History Month’s Final Week as Rodeo Ends and Spring Break Approaches
Black History Month is closing out with a strong finish, blending culture, community, and civic engagement all in one packed week. The final days of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo bring $3 Day and Market Square Rodeo Roundups, while the 7th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival celebrates literature and storytelling on the East Side.
As early voting concludes, Election Day remains Tuesday, March 3 for anyone still planning to cast a ballot. With February wrapping up, Spring Break events, camps, and concerts are already taking shape for March.

Early voting for the 2026 Primary Election closes Friday, February 27. Election Day is Tuesday, March 3.
Spring Swim Lessons

Swim lessons for all ages including Parent and Tot, Preschool, Learn to Swim, and Adult levels. Group sessions meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo $3 Day- LAST CALL

Graphic Novel Launch Party for “A Home, A Church, and A Hospital: The Development of East San Antonio”

7th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival

This free, family friendly festival celebrates Black literature, culture, and storytelling on the historic East Side. 2026 Baseball Clinic

Affordable Spring Break programming for ages 6 to 14 at locations including Copernicus, Cuellar, Dawson, Garrett, Garza, Hamilton, Harlandale, Melendrez, Miller’s Pond, Normoyle, Palm Heights, Quintero, Ramirez, Robinette, San Juan, Ward, Woodard, and Yates.
