Here are the latest results from the May 3, 2025, San Antonio City Council elections, including vote percentages for each district. Please note that some races are heading to runoffs due to no candidate securing over 50% of the vote. 

🗳️ San Antonio City Council Election Results by District

District 1

• Sukh Kaur (Incumbent): 50%

• Patty Gibbons: 17%

• Susan Strawn: 14%

Note: With Sukh Kaur at exactly 50%, this race may proceed to a runoff pending final counts.   

District 2

• Jalen McKee-Rodriguez (Incumbent): 60%

• Carla-Joy Cisco: 9%

Result: McKee-Rodriguez re-elected.   

District 3

• Phyllis J. Viagran (Incumbent): 57%

• Kendra Wilkerson: 18%

Result: Viagran re-elected.  

District 4

• Edward Mungia: 57%

• Jose “Pepe” Martinez: 16%

Result: Mungia wins open seat.   

District 5

• Teri Castillo (Incumbent): 78%

• Pablo Arriaga III: 17%

Result: Castillo re-elected.  

District 6

• Kelly Ann Gonzalez: 20%

• Ric Galvan: 19%

Result: No candidate secured over 50%; runoff scheduled.   

District 7

• Marina Alderete Gavito (Incumbent): 73%

• Cynthia Lugo Alderete: 20%

Result: Gavito re-elected.  

District 8

• Ivalis Meza Gonzalez: 43%

• Paula McGee: 22%

• Sakib Shaikh: 21%

Result: No candidate secured over 50%; runoff scheduled.   

District 9

• Misty Spears: 38%

• Angela “Angi” Taylor Aramburu: 37%

Result: No candidate secured over 50%; runoff scheduled.  

District 10

• Marc Whyte (Incumbent): 69%

• Roy Anthony II: 12%

Result: Whyte re-elected.
