Tiffany Nicole Cartwright, the passionate founder of G.L.A.M. Cartwright highlights this struggle: “Not only are we underrepresented, we are often underfunded, making it difficult to remain on the shelf.” However, support from the community can make a transformative difference.

Social media groups like Black Girls in Target, Black Girls Who Love Target, and Black Women Who Love Target have united to show their loyalty to Black-owned businesses, and Cartwright’s brand has been at the heart of this movement. As a member of these communities, Cartwright feels seen, supported, and inspired by the collective effort.

Sharla Horton, creator of Black Women Who Love Target, spoke highly of Cartwright’s impact. “It has been amazing to have Tiffany in this group!
