A large nude statue of 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared in downtown Phoenix on October 3rd. The creators of the statue, who have chosen to remain anonymous, declined to identify themselves when questioned. The statue was also placed on private property, restricting public access.

Nearby businesses, including a cannabis dispensary, distanced themselves from the project, stating they had no involvement. Ashley Meadows, manager of Canine Country Club & Feline Inn, a pet boarding facility near the marijuana dispensary where the statue was located, said the statue was completely taken down by Friday morning.

While the exact origin of the statue remains unclear, it has sparked controversy. When displayed in Las Vegas, the statue drew criticism from Nevada’s Republican Party, who condemned it as offensive and meant purely for shock value.
