3rd Annual San Antonio Black Business Week, Brought to You by Black Business San Antonio Inc. Kicks Off July 31st
It is that time of the year to start preparing for Black Business Week which is the official kickoff of National Black Business Month. Hosted by Black Business San Antonio, Inc., Black Business Week is jam packed with education, resources, conversation and opportunity for business owners all over the city and surrounding areas. This marks the 3rd annual event which will be held in the beautiful Holiday Inn Seaworld from July 31st-Aug 6th. 6 days and 5 nights of business fun!
Each day consists of either educational classes, panels or round tables during the day with networking events at night. Black Business Week provides opportunities for vendors to sell products and/or services as well as win a car for a business owner in need, $1,000 dollars at our talent search and $10,000 dollars at our product pitch party. Business owners will also have the opportunity to meet potential sponsors, investors and learn about contract opportunities during our Supplier Diversity Day.
Enjoy cocktail hours throughout the week from 5-7pm with our sponsor Uncle Nearest Whiskey. Featured vendors, Keynote Speakers and a Fashion Show Fundraiser Finale to help raise money for business scholarships are a few highlights of this week of opportunity. So many great things will take place during the week to help business owners start, grow or expand their business. This also includes workshops on Saturday. The workshops are developed to help business owners complete tasks within the workshop time. For example: Build your website, Register for your Certifications, Sign up to be a Vendor for multiple agencies, write your business plan and much more.
Black Business San Antonio realizes that there is alot going on in just one week. However, they wanted to ensure that there were opportunities available for all levels of business. The best thing about this organization is they offer many of the classes, workshops and business opportunities throughout the year inside the BBSA Annex. The Annex is the official office space for Black Business San Antonio, Inc., and provides resources for their members and interested business owners.
