San Antonio’s Silent Ballot? The Race for Mayor & Council Seats Heats Up
Looking at the calendar, we recognize that May 3rd, is just six weeks away and that’s when San Antonio will hold it’s Municipal elections, with the ballot including the Joint, General, Special, Charter and Bond elections.
As previously noted, there are twenty-seven mayoral candidates, vying for that office, as well all ten council seats up for grabs.
To election spectators, as some have noted, haven’t heard much, in the way of forums taking place, for those candidates vying for the council district seats, considering the impact new members could have on the governing process. What do you think? Is there a lack of interest, from the communities or is there nothing important to residents?

With every election, there are clear cut issues, as well as something of value being at stake. The quality of life, in the individual districts, and in the city, is determined by the number of people who are interested in seeing changes and by the quality of the elected representation.
