City Wants to Hear From San Antonians About Aging in Place

Residents Age 60 and Older Can Share Feedback on Housing, Transportation, Health, Social Connections and Other Needs Through Aug. 14th

The City of San Antonio is asking residents age 60 and older to share their experiences and priorities as part of an effort to make San Antonio a better place to age.

The city and Successfully Aging and Living in San Antonio, or SALSA, are working together on the Aging in San Antonio survey, which seeks feedback from older adults throughout the community.

Survey Will Help Shape Future Programs and Services

Responses will help guide programs, services and future planning efforts designed to support older adults across San Antonio.

The anonymous survey asks residents about their experiences, needs and priorities related to housing, transportation, health, social connections and daily life.

City officials estimate the survey will take approximately eight minutes to complete.

Survey Open Through Aug. 14

The Aging in San Antonio survey opened Wednesday, July 8, and will remain available through 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2026.

San Antonio residents who are 60 years old or older are encouraged to participate before the deadline.

Residents can take the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AgingInSA

Questions about the survey can be directed to DHSDataTeam@sanantonio.gov or 210-207-6375.

The city says feedback gathered through the survey will help officials better understand what older residents need to remain healthy, connected and supported as they age.
