Downtown Thursday Program

The Downtown Thursday Block Party is part of the City of San Antonio’s Downtown Thursday pilot program, a weekly initiative designed to bring arts, culture, music, food and entertainment to the heart of downtown.

The program runs every Thursday evening through Aug. 27, 2026, and includes free parking in participating City-owned garages after 5 p.m. Visitors can also use a complimentary circulator operated by The Local SATX to travel between downtown destinations.

Participating businesses and organizations are offering special promotions, activities and events throughout the summer. Organizers encourage residents to take advantage of the expanded entertainment options while supporting downtown businesses.
