Polls Will Be Open May 18-22 Ahead of Election Day on May 26
Bexar Democrats are encouraging residents to prepare now for the upcoming May runoff election, releasing the official early voting and Election Day schedule for voters across Bexar County.
Early voting will run from Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22, with polls open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election Day is set for Tuesday, May 26, with voting also taking place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Polls will be available at any Bexar County vote center, allowing residents to cast ballots at the location most convenient for them.
The Bexar County Justice Center, located at 300 Dolorosa St., will operate on a slightly different schedule during early voting only, remaining open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The runoff election is open to anyone who voted in the March 3 Democratic Primary, as well as voters who did not participate in either party’s March primary election.
Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and make a plan to vote. Run-Off elections often see lower voter turnout than major November elections despite carrying significant local impact.
