Notorious B.I.G.’s Daughter Honors Legacy With New Steakhouse

T’yanna Wallace Is Honoring Her Father, The Late Notorious B.I.G., With Upcoming Big Poppa’s Steakhouse

T’yanna Wallace is bringing a new tribute to her father, the late hip hop icon Notorious B.I.G., through an upcoming restaurant venture in New York City.

Wallace recently announced plans to open Big Poppa’s Steakhouse, a restaurant inspired by one of the rapper’s most recognizable nicknames and his classic song “Big Poppa.” The concept aims to blend upscale dining with cultural nods to the Brooklyn legend whose influence continues to shape music and popular culture decades after his death.

Private Tasting Held On Anniversary Of Biggie’s Death

Ahead of the official launch, Wallace hosted a private tasting on March 9, marking the anniversary of her father’s death. The event gave invited guests the opportunity to sample dishes and provide feedback as the menu is finalized.

Wallace shared the moment with supporters on social media.

“Thank you to everyone who came to my private tasting yesterday,” she wrote on Instagram. “I had this event to get some opinions on the food & figure out exactly what I wanted to keep on my menu! Thank you all for your honest reviews and everybody stay tuned for the grand opening of Big Poppa’s the end of the year!”

Big Poppa’s Steakhouse will be Wallace’s third major venture. She is also behind The Biggie Experience, an immersive tribute celebrating the rapper’s life and career, along with Notoriouss Clothing, a fashion brand inspired by the Notorious B.I.G. brand.

The new restaurant is expected to open in New York City in fall 2026, adding another way fans can connect with the enduring legacy of the hip hop icon.
