President Donald Trump is facing widespread condemnation from elected officials, civil rights groups, and the public after posting and refusing to apologize for a racist video depicting Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as apes, intensifying concerns about racial incitement as the 2026 election approaches.
The President is Racist and Out of His Mind
The Guardian News Service reported last week that President Trump, “Posted a racist video that depicted Barack and Michelle Obama as apes.” The minute-long video, made by a third party, amplified false claims that Trump won the 2020 election and showed the first Black president and first lady superimposed on the bodies of primates in a jungle setting, bobbing their heads to the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” The post, which is now being blamed on a staffer, who most likely does not exist, was taken down and when confronted with this white supremacist trash Trump said he won’t apologize. Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.), told The Associated Press,
If there wasn’t a climate, a toxic and racist climate within the White House, we wouldn’t see this type of behavior regardless of who it’s coming from.

Clarke also said that Trump “is a racist, he’s a bigot, and he will continue to do things in his presidency to make that known.”
One must know how associating Black people with apes is a centuries old racist stereotype invented by Christoph Meiners in the 1700s. This racist invented the idea that Black people were closer to the apes than any other ethnic group, and it was repeated during slavery and now repeated by modern day bigots. The video was on Trump’s own “Truth Social” site and was immediately condemned by Democrats and some Republicans. For those that know that Trump is a racist bigot it was no surprise, but nevertheless is seen as a new attack specifically aimed at the Black community. Worse yet, is the White House trying to turn the whole thing into a “Joke.” We remember what racist jokes sound like!
867 “Hate Incidents”
Donald Trump has been accused of “inflaming racial, ethnic and religious tensions across the United States,” and The Southern Poverty Law Center has recorded at least 867 “hate incidents” during Trump’s tenure. Those that follow legit news, and not the corrupt words of Trump blind followers, know all about his decades of hate toward the Black community and others. When Obama was president, Trump claimed that Obama was born in Kenya and constitutionally ineligible to serve as president.
Trump pumped up his racist constituents with this garbage and demanded that Obama prove he was a “natural-born citizen.” Trump, being the master of lies, later admitted Obama was a U.S. citizen but then quickly blamed Clinton for the “Birther” conspiracy. We will not forget that Trump made the false claim that Haitians in Ohio were eating dogs and cats. Now, he is planning ICE attacks against legal Haitian immigrants and ICE is now on the streets of San Antonio. Trump commented about the Civil Rights Movement that it was bad and that, “White people were very badly treated.”
“Laziness is a Trait in Blacks”
During his first term, Trump called Black, developing nations “shit hole countries.” He initially denied saying it, for the benefit of those that only will hear part of a news cast, but later admitted it for the benefit of his white supremacist cult. Trump was also quoted as saying that, “Laziness is a trait in Blacks.” Trump has refused to apologize for posting the Obama video, insisting that someone else made the video by saying, “I didn’t make a mistake.” Derrick Johnson, the NAACP President, said in response to Donald Trump having posted a video on social media depicting Barack and Michelle Obama, as apes, “Donald Trump’s racist video is blatantly racist, disgusting and utterly despicable.”
Trump is obviously desperate to distract us from the Epstein Files and his rapidly failing economy. You know who isn’t in the Epstein files? Barack Obama. You know who actually improved the economy as president? Barack Obama. Donald Trump must be investigated for his potential involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. And he must answer for why he has made the economy so devastating for everyone while enriching himself with more than $1.4 billion since taking office.”
The Election of the Century
The election coming in November of this year may be one of the most important in this century. It will be the crossroads between democracy or the continued rule of a racist and sick president. Trump’s record of fanatical personal criticism of the Obamas, using racist rhetoric is designed to yeast up extreme fanatical white supremacist followers. Nearly all of the 60-second video is a two-fold attack. He is again claiming the election he lost was stolen and that his opponents tampered with voting machines in battleground states to supposedly to prevent his presidency. All lies! Secondly, at the end of the racist video, he made it look like Black people were responsible for his loss by using a scene of two apes with the Obamas’ smiling faces on them. This type of racist stereotyping incites violence and that is what he is up to.
