Kappa Alpha Psi Collectible Figure Honors Greek Life Ahead of Founders Day

The Figure Debuts Ahead of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.’s 115th Founders Day on Jan. 5.

Just in time for the 115th Founders Day of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., two lifelong friends and fraternity brothers are giving Nupes something tangible to put respect on the name.

David Campbell and Kevin Hood, both initiated through the Sigma Chapter at the University of Michigan, have launched Super Nupe, a 10-inch, officially licensed collectible figure that celebrates the legacy, pride, and cultural impact of Kappa Alpha Psi and the broader Divine Nine.

Released through their Black-owned company Lore Collectibles, Super Nupe is the first figure of its kind to formally represent the “ultimate Kappa Man.” Since its debut in 2024, the collectible has gained traction among Black Greek enthusiasts nationwide, positioning itself as both a display piece and a statement.

“Super Nupe represents every brother who has worn crimson and cream with pride,” Hood said. “Dave and I have been friends for decades, brothers in the truest sense. This project allowed us to honor our fraternity’s legacy while creating something that Nupes everywhere can display with pride.”

Campbell said the idea was never limited to one figure.

“We saw an opportunity to change the game on how we recognize and celebrate Black Excellence,” he said. “The creative vision was always bigger than just one figure. The Divine Nine is just the beginning of how we’re elevating our cultural legacy through artistry and innovation.”

Meticulously designed in Kappa Alpha Psi’s signature crimson and cream, the figure features a cream Diamond K emblem across the chest and includes a poseable, candy-striped Kappa Kane. Super Nupe stands on a detachable “plot” base measuring 4.75 inches by 4.5 inches, making it suitable for desks, shelves, or any place of honor.

Looking ahead, Campbell and Hood plan to take Super Nupe directly to the brothers. Beginning in 2026, the team will target Kappa Alpha Psi Province Councils, starting with the Northeastern Province in Philadelphia and the Northern Province in Lansing, Michigan. Additional cities and dates are expected to be announced.

Lore Collectibles is also expanding its Divine Nine offerings. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will be honored next with the release of Delta Diva, scheduled for late spring or early summer 2026.

Super Nupe is currently available at Lore-Collectibles.com.
