Local Election Results Are In, Here are the Numbers

San Antonio Voters Weighed in on Project Marvel’s Props A and B and 17 Statewide Ballot Measures

Project Marvel Props A & B

Voters in Bexar County made their voices heard on two local measures tied to Project Marvel, the proposed arena and district redevelopment.

• Proposition A (Coliseum)

YES: 137,804 | NO: 108,671 | Outcome: PASSED

• Proposition B (Downtown)

YES: 128,642 | NO: 118,068 | Outcome: PASSED

Together, the two measures determined whether public tax-revenue will help fund a new multi-use arena and associated infrastructure improvements.

Texas Constitutional Amendments

Texans also voted on 17 amendments to the Texas Constitution covering property tax relief, infrastructure funding, education, and more.

Each Proposition passed with flying colors.

School District Election Outcomes

In a school-district election in Texas, a Voter‑Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) asks voters to approve raising the maintenance & operations tax rate for day-to-day expenses (e.g., teacher pay, student programs) and does not create new debt.

$7.6 Million East Central ISD VATRE

YES: 4,898 | NO: 3,932 | Outcome: PASSED

$21 Million Judson ISD VATRE

YES: 8,813 | NO: 5,874 | Outcome: PASSED

Voter participation in this cycle reflects strong interest in both local infrastructure and statewide policy issues, from tax relief to education funding.
