South Texas Blood & Tissue Launches F1 Vegas Giveaway for Donors
South Texas Blood & Tissue is putting a new spin on giving back. One lifesaving blood donor will win the ultimate Formula 1 race weekend in Las Vegas, complete with lights, speed, and high stakes.
F1 Fast Track to Vegas Package
From Oct. 5 through Nov. 5, anyone who donates at a South Texas Blood & Tissue Donor Center will be entered to win the Fast Track to Vegas Package. The prize includes a $500 Southwest Airlines gift card, hotel accommodations at Caesars Palace, and two tickets to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas.
The promotion comes at a critical time. Right now, one in seven hospital patients needs a blood transfusion. As flu season and the holidays approach, blood donations often decline, making community support vital.
“This is about more than racing,” said Audra Taylor, Vice President of Blood and Tissue Operations. “We hope the excitement of Formula 1 will fuel San Antonio donors to roll up a sleeve and save lives.”
