Shaping Our City: Candidate Forums You Can’t Miss

Inside the Race: Hear from San Antonio’s Mayoral Candidates

As the February deadline for filing as a candidate, in San Antonio’s May 3rd Municipal elections, came and went, the fields for both the Mayor’s seat and council seats, have grown.

There are now twenty-seven candidates, vying for the mayor’s office. Some district races also had a few names added, in some areas, with all vying for a seat on the dais.

We have also chronicled the possible influences of “dark money” donations (unidentified donors) of financial support as well as the possible influences of “endorsements, coming from political influencers”.

What Benefit Will the Foregoing Actions Deliver to Voters?

Candidate forums are often used, by campaigns, to bring their individual messages directly to the voters where voters can see and hear what candidates are bringing to the table and who will be representing the constituents.
