Marcus Jordan Breaks Silence After DUI and Drug Arrest
Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, has spoken out for the first time since his recent DUI and drug possession arrest. In an Instagram Story post on Thursday morning, the 34-year-old acknowledged the situation but made it clear that his focus is elsewhere.
“I won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life,” Jordan wrote. “I sincerely appreciate your concerns & thank you for your kind understanding.” Instead, he said his priority remains on his sneaker boutique, The Trophy Room.
As previously reported, Jordan was arrested early Tuesday morning in Florida after police found his car stuck on train tracks. He initially asked officers for help moving his vehicle, but they were more focused on the signs of intoxication he was showing.
During the stop, Jordan allegedly tried to use his father’s name to avoid arrest, but it didn’t work. After conducting a series of sobriety tests, officers placed him in handcuffs—which he reportedly resisted at first.
A search of his person later uncovered a small baggie of white powder, which tested positive for cocaine.
Jordan now faces multiple charges, including DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting an officer without violence. He was booked and later released a few hours after his arrest.
