“Systematic, Ruthless Plan to Undermine Americans…”

What Impact Will Project 2025 Have?

The questions regarding the effects of Project 2025 are continuing and more voters are getting involved and raising more of their concerns.

One of the profound threats, coming from the so-called “presidential transition” agenda, is how it is reportedly looking “to change how government works”.

It’s been identified as being well funded, by the Heritage Foundation, to “enable a future anti -democratic presidential administration”, to take swift, far right action that would:

  • Cut wages for working people
  • Dismantle social safety programs
  • Reverse decades of progress for civil rights
  • Redefine how our society operates
  • Undermine our economy

A central pillar of Project 2025 is known as the “Mandate For Leadership”, the policy playbook, authored by, a number of former Trump administration officials and other extremists, that provides a radical vision for our nation and a roadmap to implement it.

In researching the Project’s pillar, what’s been found is a “systematic, ruthless plan to undermine the quality of life of millions of Americans, remove critical protections and dismantle a variety of programs for communities across the nation, and prioritize special interests and ideological extremism over people.”

How will these objectives be achieved, one asks?

Here’s some of the scenarios:

They’ll begin attacking overtime pay, reducing student loans, limiting reproductive rights, allowing more discrimination, environmental pollution and price gouging.

Those behind Project 2025 are preparing to go to incredible lengths to create a country for some, not for all of us.

A clear understanding will help to combat this threat to democracy, as we know it. The most dangerous of these proposals, are those that could be implemented through federal agencies and a far-right executive branch.

The thrust of this effort is based on the premise that “the unelected unaccountable administrative state is out of control.” As the Heritage Foundation president has written “Mandate for Leadership lays out how to restore the American people’s constitutional authority, over the administrative state.” This is reportedly based on the idea that the people elect a president who is charged, by Article 3, Section 2 of the Constitution with seeing that the laws are “faithfully executed”, with his political appointees democratically linked to that legitimizing responsibility.” In this scenario, federal rules, written by executive agencies “undermine checks and balances” that need to be repaired.”

Embolden Racial Discrimination

Within the document, there also exists the potential to “embolden racial discrimination”, in everything from housing to education and to employment.” Project 2025 proposes ” that the president should remove a key tool that the federal government uses to enforce civil rights protections.” It suggests that the “federal government stop the longstanding use of the disparate treatment standard”, which is a “type of unlawful discrimination that occurs when someone is treated differently than others, because of a protected characteristic.”

These type of plans and scenarios are real and readers, as well as all voters, must be aware, become mindful and remain vigilant, as the country approaches the November general election.

Our present and future democracy is dependent upon each person making their voices heard and your presence felt!
